Short nails. Trimmed pad fur. More paw on the floor. Long nails can lift the paw pad off the floor, and fur growing over the pads covers the part that should touch it. This kit has the three tools for both jobs.

In the kit: nail clippers with a safety guard, a nail file, and round-tip scissors for the fur between the pads.

How to use: clip only the tip of each nail, a little at a time, and stay clear of the quick (the pink part inside the nail). File any sharp edges. Trim pad fur level with the pads. If you are not sure, ask your vet or groomer to show you once.

Pairs with the Padkind Sling: the open front leaves the nails free, so keeping them short is part of the routine.
