How to measure your dog's paw
Measure the paw, not the weight. Two dogs of the same weight can have very different paws.
Padkind sizes will go by the width of the front paw while your dog stands.
You need
- A hard floor
- The paw ruler from the checklist, printed at actual size, or any ruler in millimeters
- A treat, and two minutes
Step 1. Stand, don't sit
Have your dog stand on a hard floor with weight on all four paws. A paw spreads when it carries weight, and that's the size that counts.
Step 2. Measure across the pad
Slide the ruler under the front paw, or hold it flat just in front of it. Read the widest point across the pad, side to side.
Step 3. Do it twice
Measure the other front paw too. If the two numbers differ, keep the bigger one.
Step 4. Write it down
Put the number on the fridge, next to the checklist.
Where's the size chart?
Not here yet, on purpose. We'll publish sizes only after we've measured real samples. Until then, any chart would be a guess.

Not medical advice. If your dog's paws are sore, swollen or injured, ask your vet before using any paw product.
